The Quality and Risk Team is seeking to recruit two Quality and Patient Safety Partners. These new roles are responsible for working in partnership with a DHB Hospital and Specialist Services to help provide effective, integrated quality and risk management systems and processes and to lead and/or support designated improvement projects.

We are seeking applications from people who place a high priority on quality and safety and who want to make systems better for patients and staff.

Other skills required:

  • Broad knowledge of healthcare systems.
  • Proven application of quality improvement/project methodologies.
  • Highly developed analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work with others in a partnership model and to successfully lead improvements.
  • Experience of clinical risk identification and monitoring.
  • Facilitation skills.
