New Zealand Immigration New Health Requirements
There are two main changes to the health screening requirements which take effect in November are:
(i) the definition of an Acceptable Standard of health will be based on significant costs and demand, thresholds for public funded health and special education services
(ii) all people intending to stay in New Zealand for longer than 12 months will be required to provide a Medical and Chest X-ray Certificate (NZIS 1007).
