Job Description

There’s never been a better time to join this leading provider of Intellectual Disability Services in New Zealand.

The Intellectual Disability Service based in Wellington New Zealand is part of the Mental Health Addictions and Intellectual Disability Services in the wider Wellington Region. They hold national and regional provider contracts for the provision of specialist Intellectual Disability Services.

This is an exciting career opportunity to join a Service which prides itself on being a centre for excellence and innovation in models of care and professional development. As a Clinical Psychologist working for this psychology-led service you will play a central role in the design and delivery of clinical services and the overall development of the organisation. You will be joining an established and supportive team of six Clinical Psychologists who provide community and inpatient rehabilitation for youth and adult offenders with an intellectual disability.

For the right candidate the Service will offer:
• A competitive salary along with a generous relocation package
• The opportunity to extend your experience and career
• Access to ongoing professional development and education including a well-established modern learning and development centre with state-or-the-art equipment to support professional development for all our staff.
• A progressive goal orientated work environment within a rehabilitation framework.
• A friendly supportive team to work alongside
