Job Description

Registered Mental Health Clinician roles in both community and acute response settings in Rotorua

These are exciting positions, particularly given current service development initiatives related to the community-facing, inter-sectorial model of care, Te Ara Tauwhirotanga: Pathways that lead us to act with kindness.

Te Ara Tauwhirotanga acknowledges that health, wellbeing and opportunities for healing and recovery are a basic human right and that this can only occur when local, regional and national systems work well together. The model is the product of an extensive co-design process, aligns to He Ara Oranga and is designed around three central Pou (pillars) of Tikanga (Values), Tangata (People) and Taiao (Environment).

This is a great opportunity to develop a specialist skill base in clinical assessment and intervention. The successful applicant will be competent in all facets of care delivery and multi-disciplinary team working. It is also expected that you would have excellent interpersonal skills and have a strong client focus, cultural competence and a flexible approach. /p>
