Job Description

This central Auckland private hospital offers a wide range of surgical services and post-operative care to around 4,500 patients each year. They have a 3 bedded intermediate care facility, which is a specialised post-operative ward for patients with medical conditions or surgical issues that require an enhanced level of monitoring and care, and equipped to support invasive monitoring, medical infusions, and a 24-hour monitoring service. Their nurses receive specialised training to equip them with the knowledge and skills to deliver a more sophisticated level of care.

They are searching for theatre nurses experienced in all aspects of theatre, including scrubbing, assisting and circulating in elective procedures with orthopaedic experience of particular interest.

Qualifications

To be a part of the team you will need:

To be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate
Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Operating Room

Good organisational ability
Have a strong customer focus and exemplary communication skills
Be able to work flexible rostered shifts
Be a proactive member of the team
