Job Description

Our client is the only private hospital in Tauranga, with seven theatres, one endoscopy suite and expanded services on the way. They offer a variety of surgical procedures to the wider Bay of Plenty community. With modern facilities, high utilisation rates, a quality service, supportive management and a collegial team this is a dynamic, fast paced environment where your nursing skills and scope can develop and your career will thrive.

As a Registered Nurse working in Theatre – either as a scrub nurse, circulating nurse or anaesthetic nurse, you’ll ultimately be providing safe, efficient and quality patient centred care. Whilst orthopaedic surgery is common, you will also work across a variety of surgical specialties, with different surgeons and teams.

On offer is:

Family friendly shifts – morning, afternoon and day lists (no nights, maybe one or 2 Saturdays a year). No on call.

If you are keen and demonstrate commitment, you will be encouraged and supported to do further study – as a First Surgical Assist or a Registered Nurse Anaesthetic Assist.
A dynamic, committed, hardworking and supportive team.

What’s in it for you:

Not only is this a lovely facility with a great team, you will also receive:

Training and development
Loyalty rewards on special anniversary start days
Hospitalisation benefits
